Hi, I have a viper 791xv installed on my 2003 sunfire. It's been wired and fully functional for the last six month. The thing is, this morning when I tried to remote start it wouldn't. The remote will only lock and unlock and that without the remote beeping, I also noticed the led constantly on and only turns off when I start the with the key. I haven't run the diaongnositics yet and have done nothing to my knowledge that should influence this problem. Any help would be greatly appreiated.

when u say pressed do u mean constantly pushed in or just pressed once. The thing is the valet switch is located in a place where it may have been pressed a couple of times here and there but I never had this problem before. And the LED whats up with that, it's never been constantly illuminated like that before. Anywayzs the alarm is also disengaged which i forgot to mention. If I put it in some sort of mode how do i get out of it. That for ur input

Its in valet mode.  If you open a door and press lock, unlock, then lock again it should come out of valet mode and vice versa to put it back. The same thing happened to me and I thought I had messed something up. But mine did still remote start.
