My secondary harness doesn't match what's in my manual. My harness goes as follows: (the manual uses the same colors but is a different order)

h2/1- light green black

h2/2- grey/ black

h2/3- GREEN/ white

h2/4- violet/ black

h2/5- WHITE/ black

h2/6- light blue

is my harness set up correctly and there is an error in the manual. I  just want to make sure that I'm making the right connections especially when it is dealing with disarming my factory alarm.

Easy way to triple check is to check the diagram on the back of the brain as well. I have had some harness miss pinned, it does happen.

There is no diagram on the back of my brain. According to my manual H2/1 and H2/6 are correct should i ignore the colors for the other wires and line them up with the pin diagram in the book.

I got a Chevy Silverado 1500HD LS Crew Cab here to be installed with a Viper 791XV.  Is the truck sensitive to what kind of window roll up module and passlock module it can use?  I went and ordered a 555L for the bypass and 2 Smart window roll up module from asianwolf.com.  Will they work fine?

the wires on the harness won't read anything with a dmm. Profuse do you understand the problem that I have. My H2 harness is not wired up like it's suppossed to be.

its only a diagram. but what i was sayin is that, out of those 6 wire, theres a disarm wire.
to confirm, the h2/1 is disarm wire. but if you want to be anal, test all 6 wires to make sure which give (-) when unlock.

Search.  I had the same question a while back.  The harness is correct from the factory.  The pins are misprintet in the beginning of the installation manual.  The colors/uses are right, the pins wrong.  The overall diagram in the back of the book is correct and is identical to how the harness comes.
