I'm having problems with my dei 530t. The windows go up just fine (even on the lowest dipswitch setting). The auto switches work great. Everything seems normal except the windows won't go down all the way. They stop as if they were venting. I'm giving the module a constant (-) neg. input and they just stop about 2 inches. I've turned the dipswitches all the way up and it still doesn't matter. Anyone with an idea before I start trying every little thing I can think of?

Do your windows have one touch down, before adding the 530? Where exacty did you tag your motor wires? Type of vehicle? Where did you ground?

Sounds like either the factory windows are one touch and you tapped in between switch and one-touch module and not between module and motor. Or it may be that you are not giving it a long enough negative input.If you are using a delayed aux. channel such as channel 2, you will need to hold the button/buttons down for 1.5 sec. for vent, and 4.5 sec. for roll all the way down. Hope this helps.

Find your instructions and go by the chart to turn up the power to the windows. There's a series of 4-5 dip-switches you use to set this.

I have a 95 F/S Chevrolet pickup. The windows are not factory one-touch. I'm pretty sure I tagged them between the motor and switch. It was hard to see the motor. I found a grounding bolt, but I figured if the windows go up fine then something else would be the problem. I'll check that first. Also, it could be that i'm not giving a long enough (-) neg. signal to put the windows down like tbirdman said. I'll check this stuff and see. Just thought I would check here for some ideas first.

I have another question. Can I make the module not do "one touch" operation. I liked the way my manual switches worked before. I'm prepared to tear into it if I have, too.

Hold down your aux button(s) on your remote for 3 seconds, tapping them just vents them, you have to HOLD the buttons until they roll down completely.
