I installed a R.S. unit on this car but I am having trouble getting the universal transponder bypass to work on this car. It seems when I try to position the ring on the key cylinder and dont have it in the right place, that the car will go into some kind of lock down mode and the keys wont work. Does anyone know what it takes to put it in this mode, or how to get it out? All I lack is the bypass and it is driving me crazy because it is so simple but I have no info on this new vehicle. Thanks in advance.

Brian, the Immobilizer system for the Nissan is just as picky as the Ford's. There is a sweet spot on the module that the key has to rest in and if it's outside of this, then the Nissan will lock you out becuase it thinks that your trying to jack the car. Make sure that the ring is tightly wound up by the ignition cylinder and same goes for the key inside the module, make sure there isn't room for the key to move to slip outside of the sweet spot.
