Hi, I'm planing on installing a remote starter (bulldog, not the greatest but that's he's choice)on my friend's car but i got a couple of question. I've installed alarm before, how much of problem am i looking at for the remote starter. I don't know if the car is equiped with anti-theft system, how can I check your this. If the car has it, do i need the bypass module. For you guys who installed remote starter do you go with the tach or tachless installation, what's the pros and cons.

Thanks for your help

The vehicle does not have a immobilizer. Tach is the only tried and true method for consistent RS in cold weather conditions.
Using tach voltage many variables can come into play. The age of the battery, alternator, whether you have your HVAC on, is the starter going, if the vehicle is out of tune, etc.
If you want to keep your friend, and your sanity, you will do a direct tach connection.

I need some help about the keyless entry that i'm trying to hook up. Is the car door locks a type "c" or type "B". Is it negative trigger or positive trigger or reverse polarity trigger.

Need your help on this please.
