got a question i'm still fighting with my 2003 gmc sierra it only starts sometimes its something to do with e factory alarm i think. i hooked up the disarm wire but it only seems to start with the doors unlocked do i need to hook up the keyless on my stater to solve this problem?

i got a prostart r/s installed with the passlock 2 feature i did not hook up the keyless but chose to use the factory one instead i also hooked up the green disarm wire in the driver door. like i said the starter works perfect but only if the doors are unlocked.

actually one more thing what is the purpose of the key sense wire i have never had to use it until maybe now any help??

i can't say that i have ever heard of that problem before.
are you sur ethat you don't have a wait-to-start wire grounding out with the domelight or something like that?

no not at all no domelight wire is hoked up just a straight start thats why i'm wonderin if i have to do the keyless to get it to work

however i did wire the parking lights up to a positive wire cause i found one would this make a difference??

Have U checked to see if U have output from DisArm wire when U Remote Start?
