Hey guys,
   im installing a remote start and I am having trouble, does anyone know what the data, synch, and key sense wires are for a 99 prelude?

those wires are located at the key cylinder transponder antenna. there are two green plugs, look through those.
what brand module are you using?

Here's one that I did not too long ago on a 2001 Prelude . The wires are all the same from 1997 - 2001 for the Immobilizer bypass. You can grab the wires where the plug connects to another plug farther down the steering column instead of at the ring by the key.

The image that I have for you above has the wires from the car and the actual plug that you need to access these wires.Just take the underdash apart and find this connector with these wires in it and wire in the module with the wires in the picture.
