Hi,

My girlfriend is having a Viper 160XV remote starter installed in her 2001 Bonneville and has been told by 2 different dealers in town that they can't hook up the defroster to come on with remote start since her vehicle is newer than 2000.  The 160xv advertises a "dedicated defroster activation output", so I'm assuming that either these 2 shops don't know how to hook it up, or it's too difficult for what they'll get paid.  Can someone give me the directions on how to do this so that she can either show it to the installers, or I can do it when she gets the car back?

Thanks,

Herb
