Hi All,

I am  in Australia,

and I am having some problems overriding the factory immobiliser in a 99 mitsubishi lancer, so i can get a remote start alarm to remotly start the car.

The car is fitted with "smart key" with a chip inside it.  which is connected to an immobiliser module.  Basically I need a way of tapping in to the factory immobiliser.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Simon

you need a bypass module.  depending on which one you go wiht, you may need to lose a key by placing it into the module.  the module will come with instructions on how to hook it up.

The only one available for the Mitsubishi is a key required bypass module ( universal type ).
