Usally, the outputs on the module can be set for negitive(-) pulse and/or Positive pulse (+) Be sure that the outpust see a Positive (+) pulse and connect the lock wire from the module directly into the lock wire and do the same with the unlock wire. No relays will be required to do this operation,

If you can't set you alarm to + pulse out put you can always use the -ve puulse output and send it to a relay to switch a +ve supply.

I have a diagram that shows how to wire a relay but it shows a coil between 85 going to 86 and a straight bar from 87a to 30 and I dont know exactly how it is supposed to be wired do I need special coils or what?  I know most of this is pretty dumb but I definitley want to learn how to do this...

The straight bar is only showing you that the arm is connecteding pin 30 and 87a together when the relay is off. When energized, the relay will flip that arm to 87 and connect 87 & 30 together momentarily. Use this diagram to help you convert the (-) to a (+) polarity: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/N2P.jpg
