Hey fellas,

I looked on the wiring charts here and on the starter manuf website and they both say that there is a wire for trunk release.  However, I have a mechanical wired trunk release.  Are these charts wrong????Help with Trunk release 97 Mitsu Diamante -- posted image.  Or am I missing something?  There are no electrical wires running from the switch.  There are a couple running to the trunk latch.  But no actuator of any kind...Someone who's installed trunk release on this car please help!!

If you have a Mechanical Trunk Release, there is no hookup for it.
U could put a Universal Power Trunk Release on, but it's no fun......
