Please Help!!!, I have installed at least 50 remote starts and about half of those have had the passlock 2 system on them and i have never had a single problem. This van is killing me. the remote start is a crimestopper and the passlock module is a design tech, which i have always used, after everything is connected the van will start with the key but as soon as you try to remote start it will not start and the security light flashes, after resetting the security light it will start with the key again. I have checked my wires and conections at least fifty times and i have swapped both the brain for the rs and the bypass module with new ones and i stll get the same results, the ground and the voltage measures where it is supposed to be. any suggestions.

thanks in advance for any help

The only thing I can think of is that you possibly grabed the wrong ign wires. Give mr the model of the vehicle and mabey I can help.

It is a 01 chevy express van, the funny thing here is, if you put a resistor in line and totally bypass the passlock system it wont even start with the key, I just found that if the passlock is activated I am getting the same resistance as it is when the passlock working properly.

Common mistakes on these.
Taking the wrong yellow for the passlock 2
Taking the wrong white for passlock two.
Not powering up the correct ignition wires DURING start.
Recheck your ignition vs accessory wires.
I find that the 555L works great.
