I'm Installing a Viper 350hv alarm is it necessary to use relays to pulse the lock/unlock wire into the bcm or can I just put diodes and resisters in the wires comming from the alarm module?

yes use relays.....and resistors, no diodes

900ohm,disarm and unlock, double pulse

1.6kohms lock and arm
