making your own central locking

im trying to make my own central locking out of relays. have one 5 wire lock and rest are 2 wire. can soem one please tell me how to wire the relays. thanks

You still need some sort of control box. Obviously two of the wires coming from your 5-wire are for the motor, one will be trigger common (usually ground), and the other two are the triggered wires. When the actuator is in locked position, it connects the trigger common to one of the triggered wires. And when in unlocked position, it connects the trigger to the other triggered wire. So you see, you could use the triggered wires to trip the relay setup that you'd normally do for 2-wire actuator only setup, but then it'd be constantly supplying power to the actuator when you need a pulsed output instead. That's why those central locking kits always come with the control boxes (which have built in relays and control electronics to pulse the relays). Of course, you could built your own timer-pulse circuit as well.

Oh yeah forgot to mention that if you are able to get it to work, the "central locking" effect will only work for your 5-wire lock actuator. Meaning if you use the 5-wire on your drivers side, then that's the only door that will unlock and lock the others. Pull the other door locks won't trigger the remaining doors to lock/unlock. You could always just buy a central lock system which includes the controller. They're only $36 or so for a 4-door setup, and will central lock on all 4 doors.
