I am looking for a new 2-way alarm/remote start combo. I would prefer a name brand unit, but it MUST support manual transmissions. I currently have a Lynx 2000, and was happy with it until the remote broke. I am considering the ultrastart 4561M-XR. It looks like a good unit, but i havn't found anyplace online that sells it. Are there any other good options for me? From what I can see DEI, Crimestopper, and most others don't support manual trans. Does anyone know where i can pick up the ultrastart model for a good price?

I've installed 5 Ultrastarts, have two more to do this weekend, (all manual trans).

I bought them off Ebay, I couldn't find an online retailer either. Sellers name is mypushcart.

Every astroflex remote start has the ability to do manual trans.....the 2 way is the 5204

The compustar has the best range.....if thats an issue

If your car has a neutral sensor, you can look at the autopage RS series which has a remote start wire that needs to see ground to enable remote start. I have this installed on my manual maxima tapped into the transmission's neutral sensor. The car will not start unless it is in netural.. Works like a charm.
