I have an interesting problem with Audiovox prestige APS-996 alarm system. Every time I disarm my system, siren beeps 4 times and "hammer" icon is displayed on receiver.
Yes, you can say "May be there was an impact", but if I arm my system and disarm it after 1 second for example, it's still the same.
Ideas? Suggestions? Thank you very much...

Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Then turn it back off and try it. If it doesn't reset the alarm check your wiring.

Thank you for nice suggestion.
Problem was solved by moving shock sensor to MIN level. I don't know, is shock sensor so sensitive or what?
