Hooking up a Viper 771xv 2 way into a 05 Tacoma. According to directech, I need an immobilizer bypass in order to have the remote start functional. I used a 556U from DEI. Due to the immobilizer ring being flush with the ignition cylinder, I could not wrap the antenna ring that connects to the 555u.

Now, I followed alternate instruction set #1 to try to get me going. Now the ignition clicks on, but will not turn over the starter. Can anyone provide any help to get this working?

I believe I put the key in correctly. I sandwiched it well in bewteen the foam blocks. Following alternate instruction #1, I clipped the antenna wire in half, ran one end to the white wire on the 2 pin connector that is connected to the immobilizer ring and I believe the other end to the blue or green wire which is the second pin of the plug. Then hooked up power, ground, and keysense off the 556U box.

If anyone has done a remote start on a 2005 Tacoma X-Runner, Please instruct how you bypassed the immobilizer. I would appreciate it greatly.

I did one... I did not cut the antenna wires, I placed the loop in front of the key cylinder and it works fine. I used the 556U Just make sure have the 556U's loop in front of the cylinder and not touching the existing loop, and it works fine, the plastic interior work hides it perfectly.

Keep hitting the remote start button while moving the loop around the keyring. Once that truck starts, hold the position of the keyring, and either tape it exactly where its at, or try to make the dash hold it where its at. Might even want to try using zipties, whatever works.

Use tape or a zip tie to make the loop smaller, so it rests on the face of the key cylinder, just outside of the area you would see if the car were put back together.
Use a little tape to hold the ring in place if necessary, while you put the shroud back on.
The shroud will probably not fit perfectly with the ring in there, but that's about the best you can do.
If the poor fit bothers you, use the TBKIII or TBKIV from bypasskit.com. The ring is very thin and you'll get a better fit.
