If anyone can help me with this please reply...i installed a 508D proximity sensor into my car with the power window mod. I am having the hardest time getting the 508 not to trigger every 30 minuits or so.......if i have it turned down...it barely senses anything...with it turned up it goes off when ever a leaf blows by. if anyone has any tips for me i would appreciate it thank you.

u need to turn down the inside sensor, thats the red light if, the red lights comes on when u walk by the window, then the alarm will trigger, do the adjustment one at a time inside first then outside, red for inside and green for outside, or u should check your connections to make sure u do not have the thing backwards....

also when u adjust the inside it will affect the outside, and vise versa.

I was always under the impression that you do the outside first then the inside.
I have one in a Jeep Cherokee and it works perfectly!
But you do have to watch where you mount it - metal messes with it.

3FT ON warn?? that's why it's going off, the warn should be no further away than 1ft from the vehicle.
