I just bought this car yesterday and found out that it has a DEI Valet 552T Remote Start on it. After looking that up on yhe net, the remote start has been discontinued and now is a 562T Remote start. The car did not come with a remote and i would like to get a replacement. I have looked under the dash and found the module there with the wires still in contact. What would i need to do in order to get the right remote for this starter. Thx.

Uhhh..... Design Tech doesen't do DEI parts.
mrneely.... you will require a 474v remote. Available for less than $30 at any DEI dealer.

Gus, you are right, i could not find a remote on that DEI website, but this 474v remote, would i have to give the dealer a model number or something off the "Brain" to get the right remote?

That's because it is not DEI's website.....
Tell the dealer that you have a 552T that you need a remote for. The other thing I just thought of..... they may be triggering it off of the factory keyfob. Try hitting unlock 3 times.
Gus
PS: Just realized I gave you the wrong part number.... you will need either the 471T or the 491T... depending on the date code on the unit. There will be a white sticker on the bottom of the unit..... there will be a letter and number on there..... let us know.
