Siren is reversed?

I have a 91 Toyota MR2 with a Viper 350HV alarm on it. I just finished installing it and everything works fine except for the siren. Here are it's symptoms: - Constant low volume wail when it is supposed to be off - The wail will stop when you trigger the panic button (but the lights flash) - Can't get a full volume wail unless I hook the siren directly between the two leads of the battery I read that it might have been a bad ground, so I moved both grounds to the (-) battery terminal, no difference. Use a volt meter to measure across the alarm's battery and power wires. It still sounds as though you have power to the alarm but its not grounded. You should get a reading of around 12 volts.sparky

You should ground the sirene correctly.When installing i run the sirene wire to the brain and ground them at the same spot.Make shure the brain is grounded properly. If not the brain will search for alt grounds and make thesirene  hav an etremely low tone.Jamaica home of the worlds fastest man.

I measured the alarm's Red 12V wire at the Brain's harness - Came out right around 12V I measured the alarm's Yellow ACC 12V wire at the Brain's harness - Came out right around 12V with car in ACC/Start position, 0V with key out. Currently I have both ground wires twisted around eachother and bolted directly to the car's battery (- terminal). The brown wire (siren wire) always has 12V on it, is that supposed to be like that? Only when the alarm is triggerd or arm and dis arm sequence.If it has 12volts constant theres a problem the sirene will constantly wailing maybe some damage to the brain?Jamaica home of the worlds fastest man.
