Remote start

I installed my alarm and the remote starter wont work.. The starter cranks but no sign of starting.. I can start with my key though.

I had a friend do it for me... but he lives far away..
it worked when he first installed it.. but now it doesnt.  so its something loose.. but can u tell me where to look

Usually most wiring is done at the Ignition Switch Harness, but you will have to look

It's possible that nothing is lose and a toggle switch is in the wrong position. What alarm/remote start unit is installed in your vehicle?

what would be most likely wrong if it cranks but no sign of starting??
