Hi,

In order to close a sunroof do you just use a window closure module or is there a specialist module out there for this purpose?

I would guess it would be the same module but hopefully some of the experts will reply.

I think I have read somewhere it is the same.

Use a 529T for the sunroof

it depends on the roof. i believe the roofs with tilt and slide motions can be tricky enough.

test the roof if it just has the one closure switch for both tilt and slide you might have to time the closure..

Hi Powermyster, I think you answered one of my questions before a while back :)

Anyway my car's a VW Polo and it has one of those full folding 'Openair' roofs (similar to webasto roofs) you've probably seen a few around Ireland.

I've got a Clifford Avantguard 4 with the onboard window closures for the front electric windows. In addition I've got a new Laserline 824 window closure module which I had intended to use to close the sunroof.

The ebay seller says the laserline module is not suitable for sunroofs, which is annoying since it's already been bought.
