Hello,
I am looking for reccomendations for a high-end alarm. I had an AutoPage with 2-way FM LCD remotes with 3 accessory relay outputs, remote start, alarm, keyless entry, etc. However, after a few months I began having problems with it - it was draining the battery (car main battery) horribly. When left alone for a few days the battery would be dead. When the car got jumped, the system would turn on all of the accessory relays. Some other weird stuff too.
Is there anything like this that is an advanced system, but good, and well-supported? It would have been eaiser to learn chinese and read the real manual than try to figure out the AutoPage translation.

IMO the Compustar's have been a proven system in my neck of the woods. The system has plenty of features and options required for security, remote start & 2 way paging. Also if your and AUX junky you can get the channel expanders that will give you 7 channels for various options that you want to be able to control.

I personally am a huge directed fan. The 791xv is a great unit. Just remember not to drop the remote.
