I just finished installing a a Clifford RS1.1 into an '04 Hummer H2.  Everything is working fine, however the vehicle owner doesn't like the headlights blinking at night when remote started.  I did try pressing the parking brake to turn them off when remote started but this didn't seem to turn them off.  Any suggestions?

If I can turn them off with the parking brake, where and what wire should I look for, and what polarity does it have?

Thanks

Sounds to me like you have the WRONG wire for parking lights. Gray/black @ the switch NEG(-) or brown POS(+) in the drivers kick.

There is also a green NEG(-) trigger @ the headlight switch that will turn OFF the auto headlights,

Thank you for the reply.  I connected the parking light wire to PARKLIGHTS NEGATIVE gray/black - brown plug, pin b2 at bcm.

So I could either get the parking light wire in the DKP or connect the Green Neg trigger to the ned when remote start wire, right?

Well, if you can select the polarity of the parking light flash.....switch to POS(+) and try to find the brown in the kick.  ALL of the info I have showns NEG(-) at the switch...NOT the BCM.

Parking Lights+ brown (L), BROWN / white (R)  +  driver kick, harness to rear

I will change wires to the kick.  I assume this will stop the headlights from coming on and blinking at night?

It's because of the DEI remote starter that continually flashes the parking lights on and off.
Program the unit for steady parking lights, and all will be well.
