Disable Acura 1.6 EL Alarm

Hi all, I have an Acura 1.6 EL 2000. The alarm will randomly triggering (mostly when the weather is damp) I've read that I can disable the alarm by grounding one of the wires on the hood. This will fool the system into thinking that the hood is still open and thus the alarm system will not arm. Could some please let me know what wire I need to ground and where to ground it. I'm a newbie to all this stuff so please provide as much details as possible. Thank You.

Are you trying to disable the "factory" security? And, you have installed something aftermarket...? I'm confused my friend.

im not sure what the acura EL is what kind of car is this? The TL is blk/red to blue RL is grn red both are in driver door coming off key cylinder in door. (all acuras disarm wire is in driver door off key cylinder)) To check turn key to unlock in drivers door and the wire will read ground. The 1.6EL always come w/ factory alarm. You need to ground the factory alarm disarm wire in order to bypass the whole system. "The FACTORY SECURITY Module is located UNDER the PASSENGER FRONT SEAT, this BLUE (-) Pin B8 wire will only TEST when TURNING the KEY in the DRIVERS SIDE DOOR KEY CYLINDER." Hope this help.
