Hi everybody, just wondering if keysense is required on a 04 rsx. I am installing a new compustar pro on this car. I was thinking that wiring up the factory disarm and arm should be enough. Am I correct. Thank you

Thanks for the responses. Now a similiar question, would sending a pulse to the keysense disarm the factory alarm? I think it does cause putting the key in the ignition without turning it seems to disarm the factory alarm. so correct me if I am wrong.

I don't think it would, but I can test it tomorrow on my RSX and let you know then.
Why wouldn't you just connect to the arm and disarm wires listed above?

I will do that but I wanted to know if in general if doing the keysense would disarm the factory system. The reason i am asking is in some cars like the new accords the factory disarm requires going into the door so to save time i was wondering if the keysense would do it. i think it does cause in the accords putting the key in disarms everything
