KarTuneMan seems like you have it all. Wonder If you got anything on a 06 Toyota x-runner. Its a standard 4.0L.

Im trying to put a remote starter in it but of course there is NO wiring for a x-runner only for a tacoma.

Wonder if you can help me out. Or if anyone can help me.

Thank YOU very MUCH!

Well It started as a concept truck from Toyota. Its a model of the tacoma,. After a couple of years it got its own title as a X-runner. More of a sporty truck. LOVE IT! But ya i dont doubt you only have a 4 runner, its an odd one.

All the help and questions are appreciated.

Thanks

Toyota Tacoma X-runner (a sporty looking Tacoma) is similar to Ford F-150 Lightning, or Dodge SRT truck.
The diagram for Tacoma should work. But as always, test every wire with a multimeter.

I'm with captainzab. The differances between the standard Tacoma and the X runner are chassis and motor performance.

I my self wou;ld print out the tech sheet for a Tacoma, and a 4 runner. I believe it's a Tacoma on wanna-be steroids. Drop the dash and do some investigating. Sorry, no definate technical info here!

Im reading all these window module posts with alarms. Basically I get the jist of it, I mean it rolls your windows up and down. I got a question though. Can you buy a window module and use it with a remote start. Lets say i have no trunk hook up, but it is an aux. BASICALLY what im trying to get at is, I want to roll down my windows with the touch of my trunk button. Any help?

Thanks

for window module to work, all you need is aux output from your alarm
simply, yes you can use your trunk button to roll it down.
and to roll it up, your starter unit should have a ground when armed wire.
do a search on window module if you need help wiring.
by the way, what remote start system do you have? and for what car?
