Everything went great, i did it in a 5 spd. I hooked the neutral safety wire on the brain and everything worked great it would only start in N, not in 1st or any gear. Then i put everything back together. Now the car starts lights on the dash go on cr anks, starts for 1 second then shuts off??? I checked the shutdown diagnostics it says that its the Neutral safety wire. Maybe its a bad conection i hope?

What is the make/model/year of the vehicle? DEI specifically states that their RS units are NOT for manual transmission vehicles.
Some vehicles do have a Neutral Position Sensor that would work for you. There are several posts on the forum referencing some of these vehicles.

If it was the NSS wire that trips, then it would not start at all. make sure all connections are wrapped.

the weird thing is that it was working i had it working and then it would start, turn over then immediatly shutdown. When i checked the diagnostics it pointed to the NSS wire shutdown

Did you monitor the wire that you believe to be the correct NPS? Does this wire lose ground once the vehicle has started? As profuse stated, if that BLACK/ white does not see ground the RS will shut off/not start.

it is definatly the correct NPS, ive confirmed it by reading the maxima factory service manual and it points right to the wire i got Pin # 22 in the ecu(GREEN / WHITE). The remote start WAS working it was working great. I think it may actually have to do with the hoodpin for some reason when i lock the doors it always says the hood is open?? Unless he unlocks and relocks the car which is weird. Any input on that ?

Convert your hoodpin to a two pole rocker switch, see if that resolves the issue.  I know ultrastarters have an issue with programming of the r/s brain when the hoodpin is open -- could be a similar issue.
