I just finished installing a Scytek Galaxy 5000rs system into my Ford Focus. For some reason, the alarm LED will not turn off after closing the door(s). I used 4 diodes to keep the 4 door triggers isolated. I know it worked previously beacause I had used the same 4 diode isolates on my previous alarm, and the same Green (negative input) wire. I even tried playing around with the valet mode, but that didn't seem to be the problem.
SO I tried connecting the four triggers to the hood/trunk trigger wire, and Voila, the alarm LED went out each time I closed a door!
Any idea what could be causing the one green trigger wire to not trigger properly?

Hood trigger is required so the alarm wont automatically arm itself or start when maintenance is being performed.

Well, I know what the hood/trunk triggers are for, but my question is why the door trigger wire coming off of the alarm won't function properly. I mentioned the trunk/hood trigger beacause I used it to test if my wiring to the door triggers were actually working or not.

You don't provide a year for your focus, but try this.Find the BLACK/ blue wire at the drivers side kick panel. This wire should provide you with negative voltage for your green rs wire. Please before you connect any wires, verify with a dmm doors open and doors closed.Make sure that polarity does'nt change while performing this test.

                                                          Hope this helps you.

It's a 2004 four door sedan.
Anyone else with an opinion on this? I'm kinda frustrated with this. Since my alarm LED won't go out, the alarm thinks there's a bad sensor, and I get that annoying "chirp chirp chirp chirp" after I arm the system...thanks
