I installed a Mars 32 Alarm/Remote Starter in a 2002 Dodge Intrepid. The First time We installed the alarm the customer had an issue when ever it got cold at night the unit would stop communicating,(would not lock, unlock, remote start) I called omega tech support they said it was the brain, we replaced the brain ran good 3-4wks. then get a call that the alarm isn't working(not communicating) , then when she open the door the alarm went off, when she took the key out the car kept running. I popped the hood and the hood latch didnt shutdown the engine, So i just pulled the fuse out the alarm and of coarse after I replaced the fused everything worked fine...

i ran into a similar problem with an intrepid before, check to make sure no water is getting inside where the unit is, i had a car with a leak and was getting moisture damage even with the alarm high up in the dash.
