will broken led circuit stop the alarm?

basicly i bought a new truck and it has an ungo alarm. but when the last guy was taking out his stereo he didnt hook the LEDS back up.. now the alarm isnt working.. I had some trouble finding the wiring for the LEDS..  should it work again once i get the LEDS back in..

and what does the over ride switch do?  I need to find a manual for this thing.

Without the LED's you wouldn't know what the state of your security system is in but it wouldn't impede the system from functionning correctly.

Make sure that the LED voltage corresponds to the security system. Most security systems use 2 volt LEDs.

You're dead on when you said you need a manual. Get all the numbers you can from the module in the car as well as your remote especially the FCC ID, which can sometimes be molded into the casing rather than being a sticker, and we'll help you find what you need.
