Need help hooking up my alarm to the parking lights:
2005 Jeep Wrangler, EVS alarm (manufactured by Code Alarm for Mopar) (not remote start or sentry). Alarm brain has a (+) and (-) output for parking lights.
1. Is it true that I will only connect the (+) output terminal to the wt/yl parking light wire?
2. If so, where is the optimal location to tap into the wt/yl wire?
3. Do I need a seperate parking light relay?
Thanks for any help!

Yes you can connect the wire directly to the WHITE/ yellow wire.  Its a positive so just make sure the brain gives a positive output.  I have gotten that wire at the ign harness and actually all the connections there on an 04 wrangler.  Just take the two philips screws off the panel under the steering wheel and pull panel off.  You will probably see the harness wrapped up in black tape.  Just remove the tape and you will find your ignition wire, constant power wire, starter, and of course the parking light wire

I've always found the parking light wire to be BLACK / YELLOW.
It's easily found in the bundle of wires coming down the steering column.......it comes from the parking light switch, down the column, and goes off into the body of the car.
So basically, it's at the same place where you probably got your constant, ignition, and starter wires.

Thanks for the help as far as to the optimal location to tap into the parking light wire,
However, I am still left with question #3 of my original post: Do I need a relay? The parking lights stay on all the time!
Thanks again, please help!
