I try to install two roll up/down window modules to the front windows of a cuad cab silverado but it does not work . I`m wiring in the window motor the problem that i have is the neither of the cable shows ground so when i activate the module for roll up or the one to roll down they provide the + 12 volts but since there is there no ground it doesn`t do anything, so i was think it in installing a set of relays but i dont have but im still working on this idea, any sugestion would be of big help
thanks

There are several window roll-up modules... can't you be more specific as to which module you're using:

ex: DEI 529t, 530t, Asianwolf, other brand....

i think i understand what you're talking about, nevertheless...

wire up your relays as such:

85: 12 volt wire from module (up or down)

86: chassis ground

30: chassis ground

87: output to chevy window wire (up or down)

i tried the 2nd acc but it didnt work also i tried the relays 2 for each window ( doing the wiring like this 85 +12 volts from roll up/dn module,86 grnd , 30 grnd , 87 to windowso when one cable got +12volts the other was geting -12volt )at first it looked like they work but they shorted , when i was doing the passenger window i noticed that both wires of the window motor where showing +12 volts so when i tried to install the relays there was a few sparks so with my meter i cheked and i got +12 volts at the 2 cables , after doing a check to evrything the +12volts disapeared so i continue to install evrything and it worked a few times but after doing some testing the drivers window did the same thing as the pasenger did and it caused the cables to heat so i disconected evry thing so rigth now i am where i started and i really need to get this done thanks for any help you can give
