I just ordered a new alarm for my friend and noticed that the box it came with is now in a small square box? as with mines that I bought last year was in the regular rectangular box? is there any differances or updates they did to the alarm or is it just the box change?

Where did you order it from. Im not sure but i think small white boxes are refurbished units.
