Hello all I have a 93  Civic Ex Coupe I am installing a Viper 5000 into it I would like to make the horn of the vehicle work with the siren also as I am in a high theft area and alot of alarms here sound the same. Can anyone help me with this?

is the horn hook up to the viper unit H2/7 light brown wire. i belive horn will only go off with full alarm. mya have to do a programing change too under menu 3

the horn output from the alarm can only power a relay. remove the horn fuse, or unplug the horns and honk the horn on the steering wheel, you should hear a relay clicking on and off somewhere. if not then you need to put your own relay in. look in your steering column for the horn wire (it throws a ground when honking, do not use a test light, use a multimeter,) and tap into that. if you catch it further down the line it may be after the factory relay and won't work. in my 01 prelude, I actually tapped in down below where my left foot is, so that there isn't a single wire running anywhere near the steering column.
