2007 Honda Civic with factory alarm

I have a VALET 561r  remote start w/keyless entry

I have a HONDA-SL3

Do I need a CAN-SL2? What does it do?

How do I hook up the wires on the sl3, for example what is a

Lamp in?

Lamp out?

data?

Synchro?

Ignition- I'm guessing that this means to hook it up to a key on power +?

Thank you in advance for the help, because I am stuck!

Very simple, it mentions that you have to use type 3 which is yellow to pin 2 which is ign, you can test it by using a meter.  Pin 3 is a small light green wire and its your data wire and you connect your PURPLE / white wire to it.  There is another harness connected to the module.  Yout cut that harness and connect ground to the black wire, and constant 12v to the red one.  The other two wires you do not use.  As for the CAN-SL2, you do not need it.  It would be a waste of money for that.  Now after making those connections you follow the programing sequence.and it should be done.  Before you do the SL3 you must connect your remote start system and then the sl3.
