well it worked fine except could not get the rear tailgate door to unlock from remote the relay clicks when i push the button on the remote but will not unlock the tailgate and now the doorlocks work fine from the switch but not the remote.they work some times and there are times when they do not work i have gone over the wiring it seems correct. If I use the factory keyless entry remote to unlock the tailgate that works and then i can used the after market remote to unlock the tailgate but it will only work one time then the tailgate will not unlock from the after market remote until i use the factory remote first.I was wondering if it could be a problem with the databus mod i used the db-chdl4 from omega.

how did you connect your wires did you use t-taps or did you solder if you used t taps rip the whole thing out and do it again with solder and tape if you used solder and tape pull off all your tape and check for cold solder joints on your connections

by your description is sounds like you have a few bad connection that are intermittantly failing

or another option is that i have completely missunderstood what you were writing cause it made little sence
