I just did something reading on the 07 altima.

By the looks of this you have 2 ignitions, parking lights and the starter wire to get under the hood.

You have 2 X ACC, Ign3 and the security led.

then you have the doorlocks in the DKP and the brake wire above the pedal.

and depending on the bypass- there is pin 6 and 14 on the OBD2 that must be connected

anyone work on this car, let me know if it is hard to do(eg: removing the cluster, passing wires through firewall)

and what is the price for a remote starter installation going for on this car?

Testing is the key

Why would you need to get at igns, starter and parking lights under hood? Do the least amount of electrical connections under hood for obvious reasons.

The astrochart shows 12v and parking lights "on" the fusebox. This car looks like a pain. Transponder bypass, push button start..... jeeze! My sack aches just lookin at the tech sheet!

They do not even list an ign.

Thanks, I looked at the diagramme and it appears you need Siren leads and 4 wires to go under hood. Ref hood entry, either look for a spare grommet or go through (carefully) or drill, grommet and seal (RTV or similar) the whole. if you have to drill TAKE GREAT CARE to check both sides of you drill hole for EXPERNSIVE obstructions.

My honest answer would be that if you have to ask that question, don't attempt it yourself because the doubt has already been sown in your mind, I cna't answer the second part beacause of different labour rates, where do you live?

I do this for myself in my garage. Sidejobs that I have been doing this for years.

I was thinking in the range of 400.00

use an Idata ADS-DLSL-CA and you don't have to run any wires under the hood. just one relay and the wiring is already under the hood that you connect to.
