I am trying to find the correct wire to hook my tach wire to.  My car is an 01 vette (with 6 spd trans).  In the instructions, from the manufactuer, I'm supposed to look for a white wire at the coil or coil pack.  There are no white wires to be found.  I've hooked the tach wire at the pcm red connector pin # 10, and it's not working. Every thing else is hooked up and ready to go. Is there some place else this wire can be connected?

Tach white (AC) at PCM
The PCM (Power Control Module) is located on the PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. You will need to remove the right front tire and remove access panel in the Inner fender to get to the PCM. The TACH WIRE is located in the BLUE connector Pin 35.
Tach signal can also be found at a coil, usually the unique wire color from all coils.

on the plug you may see small numbers to denote where the numbers start. You may have to count them and they usually go by row down in sequence. See if the wire is white as it should be to where you were supposed to connect to.

Yeah, color white like techman93 said. I believe I stated that above.
