From directtechs, it says that the starter wire is yellow at the ignition harness, but can somebody tell me what gauge the starter wire is?

It's a big wire, but still, a fair bit smaller than all the other ignition wires.
But, you do plan to TEST this wire before connecting to it, right?

There is a yellow wire that goes from the ignition down towards a plug, kinda looks like another BCM, to the left side of the dash.  Tested that wire, and it reads 12volts at the crank, I'm playing it safe and wanted to double check before I cut the wire.  There are some other yellow wires that are a little bit thicker like 16 gauge that head out towards the fiewall instead of to the left of the dash .  Do those lead to the starter as well?  Thanks in advance for your advice.

You should remove the metal knee boolster, this way you can't do mistake you see the plug at the switch. Pay attention metal boolster can badly damage wires if the wires are not properly secured.

Yes it's that Yellow wire

The wire that leads down and to the left?  Anyone else has any input on this?
