PEUGEOT - DPCO - 75, avenue de la Grande Armée, 75116 PARIS.
It appears to be a French company. Howie knows who makes the Skoda, I just remember he was not real fond of their vehicles. I do not remember if he said it was Peugeot or Renault.

No it's not.  Y is a crooked letter as my then wife used to tell our daughter;  is that why she's my long gone ex-wife?  Ah froggie cars AKA CRAP = Citroen Renault and Peugeot. Couple of things to remember ;  badly made and after 3 years the electrics will fail completely, the wiring is a few pastel colours with no secondary, just small numbers you can only read with a magnifying glass. But then go to work on an Alfa and you'll think they are BMW.  Peugeot and Citroen are the same company (think GM), also Mits overlander is also sold as Citroen/Peugeot models.  Renault also own Nissan, it's the only way they could get decent engines. The one good thing about the above CRAP is they look beautiful, they ride well and Citroen/Peugeot make great diesel engines. Women love little Peugeots, unfortunately it's a bit less macho for us, I've never seen a man driving a Peugeot 107/207 or Mazda MX-5 (Miatta). Skoda are Czech, once the auto laughing stock of Europe, eg how to double its value? Fill it with gas etc. etc. VW took them over in the early 90s exquisite build quality and paintwork, only let down by using SEAT (Spanish company owned by VW) interiors, if they used VW interiors, they'd never sell another Golf/Jetta. By the way as is usual these days most Pugs and Rens are made in UK, along with Honda Nissan and Toyota,we only build engines and gearboxes for Ford, trucks for GM and Land/Range Rover and Jaguar are now owned by an Indian Steel Company!

that's what i told my girlfriend, but she says they taught it to her in school, that y becomes a vowel in in the instance of a word that doesn't have a vowel but has the letter y in it, think about how many words have no vowels but the letter y is present. Where do you get your info on vehicles howie? if you don't mind me asking, and I have another little question for you, if we make an exception to the rule above what is the longest word in the english dictionary without a vowel? who manufactures peugeot? -- posted image.

and dont forget Howie how Renault had their hands involved in the great american icon "MACK Trucks Inc." who made many upon many of their rear drive axles, entire "MIdliner" line of trucks, and manufactured all of their E7 and ASET engines. its also funny to note that a MACK is not even a MACK anymore anyway. they are now owned by VOLVO of Sweden and all the new ones are VOLVOs with a MACK bulldog on the hood.

Darren, if your girlfriend's as good in the other parts of your relationship as playing mind games you're a lucky lad. Words without vowels?  I thought the rule was a noun becomes an adverb when you end with a Y e.g. sex and sexy.  Which brings me nicely back to the 12volt not sex....Posts which start with "So I...." or "Hi I...."etc. I usually ignore them. CK that brand engineering goes on everywhere, Daf trucks  = Renault trucks, not sure if Ford owns Volvo trucks as well as the cars or GM owns Scania as well as Saab cars, Renault van = Vauxhall Opel (GM) = Nissan,  Mercedes Sprinter = Dodge = VW =Fiat Iveco (Also Ford Iveco) etc etc etc.

Ford doesnt own VOLVO trucks. VOLVO bought Ingersol Rand and now owns them as well. Even things like CATERPILLAR are built in China. Ford does have a truck line but it has nothing to do with Volvo, over here that brand is called "STERLING TRUCK"

Of course Caterpillar are made in China, how else would they get silk worms?  Lord I'm reaching there. Ford don't even make trucks in Europe any more, they used to be rebranded Fiat Ivecos.  I swear I can't think of a real word NOT anagram without vowels, tsk tsk. Don't forget BRITISH Aerospace, like Smiths Industries, effectively now US companies. Also are Lear who make fuseboxes etc for US built BMW and UK Fords the same company as Lear Jet?

Actually I only ever watch NCIS, CSI Miami, Fringe, Gossip Girl (Honestly) and the latest 24, love Jack Bauer's foreplay with the lovely FBI agent walker, so far he's choked her unconscious, shot her and buried her alive!
