power inverters how much watts?

does any body know how you can tell how much watts to run a 15" lcd tv and a ps2 in a car?

Each of the devices in question should have a label that tells how many watts each needs to operate. Find the label and just add then you will have the answer.

Watts equals volts times amps.. measure voltage and current draw, multiply them together and that's the watts..

an educated guess would be less than 200 watts.. probably less than 100, but go with 200 watts to be sure. What size inverter are you considering?

a ps2 is 93 watts my 15" lcd uses 1.0 amps so i would use a 300 watt rms inverter.
