Ok, Im NOT crazy, but here is what is happening. When i get in my car and start it up and turn on the radio, the radio powers on but the amp dont turn on. If I turn power on deck on and off several times, one of those times it will turn on amps and everything is fine. Sometimes I have ot turn deck on and off 20 times, sometimes it is 30, sometimes 5. It doesnt make any sense.

Working 2 jobs I wont have time to really check into it till this weekend, but turn on seems connected well, all wires going to amps seem good. I wired the amps to the blue/white amp turn on from the factory harness, should I have used the power antenea wire instead?

What is weird is it works sometimes. I would be much happier if it didnt work at all, at least Id know what it was. Once it turns on, it works perfectly till i get to my destination, then the second I turn the car off, I have to go through turning my deck on and off again 5-30 times to get it to come back on.

Thanks everyone for your opinions.

To test this, I would either wire the turn on wire to the ignition line or the power antenna trigger. Wiring the power antenna trigger is of course not going to give any voltage if you try and play a cd, so you will only be able to test by using the tuner. If the system comes alive with either of these wires used, then the issue is with the remote on driver in the head unit. Time for a new cd player or warranty. You can hook the remote on trigger line to the ignition to get around this issue in the meantime. If the problem still persists after moving this line, you may have a problem with what sounds like a factory amp or even a speaker grounding out.
