i just got an Audiovox 996A installed and the only thing i dont like is when i remote start it turns on my park lights then when you push the brake it turns them off. is there a way to wire all my lights to turn on when the car is started and turn off with the car, but also keep the function of the switch? i was looking at the 545T but i dont want the remote function, some relays will work fine.

i would like it to work as follows

turn light switch on with car off, nothing happens.

turn car on, lights are on.

turn switch off lights turn off.

with lights on turn car off lights turn off.

is that possible to do for the side markers, turn signals, and low beam lights?

is my head in the clouds or is the a few relay task away. LMK it i need to be more specific on what im looking to do.

This should be fairly easy with a few properly placed relays. One question when you say "turn car on" and "turn car off" do you mean for the lights to work with the key "on/off" or the engine running or turned off?

in my head, walk out (remote start, or key in) turn on truck lights are on, aslong as the switch is on inside of truck.

if the switch is on lights turn on and off with the motor

if the switch is off then my park lights only work(that is how my alarm is wired)

after driving down the road i want to creep up to a house so i turn the switch off and my lights turn off, turn off truck turn switch back on, lights stay off turn truck on ten minutes later and lights turn on. if switch is left off then lights are off..

sorry im kinda tired and long winded
