Ok, this is a strange request, but can someone help me figure out how to make some relays do the following.

I would like to be able to use a three way switch, in the first ON position, I would like to drive the relays to output a positive and negative 12 volt output to drive a simple dc motor, but then the other on position would change the output to bridge the + and - that was going to the motor, meaning to dead sort them.  Of course I don't want any voltage at that point.. (that would be a bad thing)  Does that make sense?  You see the motor if you take its two wires and put them together has a built in brake. So I would like to be able to activate that brake in the one position. And power it with the other.

Thanks,

Jamie M.

ok ,you need 4 relays, and your 3 way switch will be ground

relay 1    30 to motor pos......87 to pos.....86 to pos....87a to relay 4-30.....85 to your switch #1 ground

relay 2     30 to motor neg......87 to neg........86 to pos....87a to relay 3-30......85 to 85 on relay 1

relay 3      30 from relay2-87a......87 to relay 4-87.....86 to pos.....85 to your switch #2

relay 4      30 from relay 1-87a.....87 from relay 3-87....86 to pos....85to relay 3-85

there you go,   XS
