OK, here goes, I'm close to seeing how this might be done with a latching relay asembley but I'm a bit foggy.

I have a RFID module that outputs a pulse when the RFID tag is withing range. This will become the vehicles "Key" I have a alarm with remote start. And I have a Honda S2000 starter button.

What I would like to do is have the RFID trip a relay to ALLOW accessory power (not turn it on) then have the first push of the S2000 starter button to turn on ACC power, and the second push to start the engine and if possible a third push to stop the engine. The stop could also be done by a second momentary switch if needed.

Is this even possible? without some fancy EEPROM logic assembly stuff?

i am an idiot

rfid keyed double/push starter button -- posted image. Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary Pulse
Similar to the momentary to constant configuration above, we can engage and disengage the latched output with a single pulse from a switch or an output from an alarm or remote keyless entry. The first pulse from the switch will engage the latch. The next pulse from the switch will disengage the latch.

The above is a latched relay setup.  The switch at the bottom of the picture allows the relays to be turned on  and then another touch of the switch turns them off.

You will need to leave the switch for killing the system.  You will also need to parallel the output of the RFID box with the switch.

I'm working on a very similar project, but using a push button from a Nissan Altima.

I'm using the fance 'EEPROM logic assembly stuff' though to make it all work right!

I would start with a good off delay timer relay.  Once the relay sees the short pulse from the RFID tag it would start a time delay that would allow the button to start the car.  You could also set it up so that whenever you push the button when the ODTR is not active it will kill the ignition.  There would be some funky situations would it may not always work right, but at least it is very simple, and you always have the key for backup!

Good luck and keep us updated of your progress.

Does each push of the remote have a different output?

If so Positive Pulse or Negitive Pulse

Here is what I came up with. This is for Positive Pulse Starter

for simplicity sake, you might want to try a magnetic reed switch for the starter output..... then just wear a magnetic ring...
