I got a 2002 Honda Civic and bought a DEI Avital 4100 remote start and am installing it. I got the Primary harness installed and relay harness with all ignition wires installed. I am not wiring the door locks and need some help. I read about the grey plug above drivers kick panel but I see 2 gray plugs (large one and small one).

1. If i use the unlock and lock wires on the diagram for my car, will this mimic the factorys lock and unlock features? (1 click unlock driver, 2 clicks all doors)

2. Will I have to do anything with my factory keyless entry when I finish installing the Avital as disable it or anything? I don't know if the car has any antitheft features I need to disable, or can I incorp. them into my remote start?

I just want to ensure I hook up the door lock and unlock harness to maximize what features and avoid triggering any factory alarm thats included when using my remote start.

Ok i found the correct gray plug and th sysem is installed and works great! Thanks for the help.

I have another question regarding the factory keyless entry system. Im assuming it is located behinf car stereo. Where can i find the pinouts or wiring diagram for the factory keless entry. I would like to learn more about their operation and how i might be able to mod it some. Any advice would be helpful.
