I'm trying to install a cheetah car starter in a 2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.5L.  I got everything almost working, the car turns on with the starter but it turns off after about 5 seconds.  Anyone has run into this type of trouble before? Any suggestions?

there is something wrong with your immobilizers bypass or the lack there of...... make sure your keys are not coded......

if u have install a bypass and and confirm that it is working properly, the other possibility is that the remote start may be sensing a voltage drop.. or possibly not getting a full tach signal if u have the tach wire connected.... if u are using a tach reference wire... also verify that u have a true tach...... hope this help.. lemme know if it doesn't...

there can be only one.......
