I just finished extracting the factory (add-on) alarm. It was one of those that had a junper wire with all the connection in the middle of the jumper placed inbetween the quick connector in the factory ignition harness. Anyways, I have printed out the list of all the wiring colors and diagrams from the site, and the factory alarm was tied into 1 wire not listed in the online wire color diagrams, I was able to find all the factory connections to all the wire colors listed here (green at kick panel for lock, etc, etc).
Anyways, the factory alarm was tied into a Blue with Red Stripe that is located in the same kick panel harness as the door trigger, lock/unlock wires.
Im going to go get a test light and ground it to see if I get an effect, but I thought I would ask first.
Thanks

Forgot to ask for 1 more wire. I need a grounded when in neutral/park. I know there is a neutral safety switch in the thing, Any one know where I can pick it up at?
Thanks

Just read that the oem safty switch is not the grounded type and that it controls the starter circuit (open/closed) so I dont need to worry about it, just ground it. As if its not in park/neutral the starter circuit wont be operational anyway.
Is this correct?

Thanks, I figured out the saftey switch as the OEM one isn't a grounded type. When its not in park/neutral, the system doesn't allow power through the stock starting wires, so it protects it self in that sense.
I could never figure out what the Blue with Red Stripe in the drivers kick panel in the same loom as the lock/unlock was, but all the features for the alarm got installed without ever having to hunt out a connection for a specific feature, I wonder why the Factory one was plugged into it. O-well.
Thanks
