2005 colorado remote start

I installed a nustart remote start system in my 05 colorado, when I purchased the unit they sold me a bypass module pljx gm autolearn bypass, after reading on the forums about  my vehicle having the blue/white and yellow/white wires for the keysense,passlock, starter I am not sure this is going to work, just wondering if anybody has installed with a bypass module and if so if they could explain how they made it work. Or do I need to use the direct fax 1603 document
